AI Landscape

Stop Chasing AI Trends. Start With Your Bottleneck.

There's a new AI tool every week. A new model, a new platform, a new 'game-changer' that promises to revolutionize your business. LinkedIn is full of breathless posts about the latest breakthrough. It's exhausting.

Here's the thing: none of that matters until you know what's actually holding your business back.

The Tool Trap

The biggest mistake business owners make with AI is starting with the tool instead of the problem. They sign up for ChatGPT, play with it for a week, can't figure out how it fits into their workflow, and conclude that AI isn't for them yet.

That's like buying a power drill before knowing what you need to build. The drill isn't the point. The shelf is the point.

Start With the Bottleneck

Every business has bottlenecks to growth. They almost always fall into three categories: marketing (nobody finds you), sales (leads don't convert), or operations (you're drowning in the day-to-day). Figure out which one is your biggest bottleneck, and then ask: what would it look like if this was solved?

That's where AI fits in. Not as a shiny new tool, but as the engine behind a specific solution to a specific problem. AI can write your blog posts, respond to leads at 2am, draft your sales follow-ups, and automate your scheduling — but only if you know which of those things actually matters for your business right now.

The Right Question

Don't ask 'how should I use AI?' Ask 'what's the one thing that, if fixed, would unlock the most growth in my business?' Then figure out if AI can help fix it. Usually, it can. But it starts with the problem, not the tool.
